  2. Prepare 2-3 tbsp Oil
  3. Take 2-3 chopped green chillies
  4. Take 1-2 tbsp Chana dal
  5. Get 1-2 tbsp Urad dal
  6. Take 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  7. Make ready 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  8. Get Pinch Hing/asafoetida
  9. Prepare to taste Salt
  10. Prepare 1 cup curd
  11. Get handful Coriander leaves

Curd rice, also called Thayir Sadam, is a dish from south India. It is considered a comfort food by many. Curd rice is usually served at the end of the meal to combat the spiciness of the dinner.   1. Boil water in a pan and cook rice and let it cool.
  2. Take a pan heatup oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds when it starts to crackle add chana daal and urad daal and let it cook untill untill golden brown add green chillies then add cooked rice and salt to taste mix well and let it rest for 10 min. To cool.
  3. Now add curd and mix well and serve.

Cool the rice then add curds and mix well. Pour the seasoning onto the rice and curd mixture.
