- Prepare 8 pcs. Ripe Banana
- Make ready 3 cup Coconut Milk
- Get 2 pcs. Pandanus Leaf
- Make ready 3/4 cup Sugar
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions to make Banana in Coconut Milk:
- Cut 1 banana into 4 pcs. by cutting half in length way and then in width way as picture.
- Pour coconut in pot, put in pandanus leaf and add banana.
- Put sugar and salt. Turn on medium heat and bring to boil.
- Stir little, reduce to low heat and boil until banana is cooked. Noticed by banana texture would be soft and little transparent.
- Tip : served hot in dessert cup about 6-8 pcs. Taste is sweet, little salty, flavor of coconut milk and scent of pandanus leaf. If you like little hard banana and sticky texture, I would recommend to use light green & yellow banana. Ripe yellow ones are soft and sweet if you like. You also can adjust sugar as you like.
- Remark : Better take pandanus leaf out when it cooked, don't leave it in pot otherwise it would give bitter taste.
