- Soak chick peas overnight.
- Roughly chop beetroot, onion, garlic, green chilli and coriander leaves.
- Place the soaked and drained chickpeas to a grinder.
- Also add the chopped veggies.
- Add the spices like cumin seeds, chilli flakes, coriander powder, sesame paste and salt.
- Add 2-3 tablespoon of water and grind to a little coarse paste.
- Take some roasted sesame seeds in a plate.
- I have a felafal mould by which I am making the shape of felafal. But ofcourse you can also shape them with your hand.
- Take felafal mould, coat the surface with sesame seeds.
- Now fill the mould with chick pea battar.
- Drop the felafal in hot oil.
- Fry them in medium heat on both sides for 6-7 minutes or until crisp.
- Transfer to a paper towel.
- For the spread take mayonnaise and sesame paste to a bowl.
- Mix together well and keep aside.
- For the feta cheese salad slice thinly the veggies and chop roughly lettuce.
- Place them in a bowl with some chopped coriander leaves.
- Add salt and mix them well.
