Pineapple Rasam is a special variety of rasam. The pineapple adds distinct flavour and taste. Pineapple rasam/kesari are my favourite as I love the wonderful smell of this fruit.

Pineapple rasam is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Pineapple rasam is something that I have loved my whole life. They are fine and they look fantastic.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have pineapple rasam using 14 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Pineapple rasam:
  1. Take 3 cup water
  2. Get 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  3. Prepare 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  4. Take 1/4 cup toor dal cooked
  5. Take 1/4 cup pineapple puree
  6. Get 1/2 bunch corriander
  7. Take 1/4 curry leaf
  8. Take 1/4 tsp turmeric
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp rasam powder
  10. Get 2 green chillies
  11. Get 1 tbsp canola oil
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp musturd seeds
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Take 1 each garlic pod crushed

Rasam is a spicy tangy soup made with tamarind and spices. This pineapple rasam is a lovely variety of rasam. having complex flavors, its spicy, tangy, and faintly sweet. Steps to make Pineapple rasam:
  1. Heat a vessel, add 3cups of water, mashed dal,chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, green chillies, few curry leaves, rasam powder and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Add pineapple puree and pineapple chunks.boil for 2 min.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , crushed garlic, curry leaves anf fry for few seconds.
  4. Add this mixture to the boiled rasam and combine. Turn off the heat and place lid. Garnish with corriander leaves.
