- Microwave ice cream for 30-40 seconds until melted. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Add in egg yolk and whisk until well combined.
- Pour mixture into ramekin.
- Place ramekin in a larger pan and fill pan with hot water until it comes up about halfway up the sides of the ramekin.
- Carefully place pan with ramekin inside preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes.
- Remove ramekin from pan and let cool to room temperature.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 3 hours up to 2 days. Best to chill overnight!
- Sprinkle tbsp of sugar on top of crème. Place rack of oven toward the top near the broiler.
- Place ramekin on top rack of oven. Turn on broiler and leave oven door open.
- Watch crème to see if top is brûlée-d to your liking. turn off broiler and remove ramekin from oven.
- Let top crust settle for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
