  7. Keep simmering occassioally for about an hour, stirring at intervals
  8. The sauce will start reducing and turning a golden brown color and starts to thicken
  9. A few minutes more and it will become a very rich deep coppery brown color and very thick, this is how you know it is ready
  10. Allow to cool and pour into a jar with lid. Keep refrigerated if not using immediately
  11. You can pour this dulce de leche sauce over all your favorite desserts or just lick it as a sweet… Too damn delicious
