  1. Take 4 tbsp Horsegram
  2. Take 2 tbsp Coconut grated
  3. Prepare 6 Garlic pods
  4. Make ready 3 Dry red Chilli

  6. Get Tamarind - Small gooseberry size
  7. Prepare 1 pinch Hing
  8. Prepare 1/2 tbsp Oil

  13. Prepare 1 bunch Curry leaves
Instructions to make Horsegram Chutney:
  1. Heat the kadai and dry roast the horsegram.
  2. Then transfer the roasted horsegram to a separate pan
  3. Now add oil to kadai and then add the coconut, Curry leaves, garlic, dried chilli, tamarind, hing and roast the ingredients.
  4. Cool the roasted items, grind it well along with salt and little water to a smooth paste.
  5. For seasoning, Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  6. Once it splutters, add curry leaves and switch off the flame and then add to the chutney.
  7. Serve with rice and rasam
