Instructions to make Spring Onion Chutney:
- Chop the tomato. - Heat oil in a pan and then add Chana dal and roast the same.
- Now Add the tomatoes, coconut, tamarind, garlic, ginger and dried chillies, one by one, saute well until golden brown.
- Add the spring onion and saute until lightly browned. - Then add salt, hing, turmeric powder and saute in a low flame for 5 minutes.
- Once the mixture cools down, grind in a mixer jar.
- Heat oil in a pan and then add mustard, fennel and curry leaves.
- Spring onion chutney ready.
